Describe Pericles three goals for government: power. Wealth. Friends.
Describe the Art and architecture in Athens including the Parthenon: it was a temple. They believed in a lot of statues.
Describe the invention of Drama in Greece: comedy being stupid humor. Tragedy made to be war, romance, hate, and betrayal.
Describe how Athenians developed a sense for History: passed down from storys.
Describe the Peloponnesian War: Athens grew in wealth so other city states became to think of the city as hostile. When war started Athens had stronger navy and Sparta had better army.
Describe Socrates: believed absolute standards did exist for truth and justice.
Describe Aristotle: Plato’s student. He questioned nature of the world.
Describe Plato: a student of Socrates. Wrote vision of a perfectly governed society.
